A dramatic and sculptural specimen featuring a tall prismatic quartz crystal almost entirely encrusted with richly colored botryoidal chrysocolla in a vivid saturated blue-green. The globular chrysocolla aggregates coat the quartz host in dense, undulating layers, their waxy luster and varying tones creating a visually dynamic surface.
The quartz termination emerges at the apex, offering a glimpse of the crystal beneath and adding pleasing contrast. Comes displayed on a custom acrylic base from Stone Throne. A bold and collectible combination piece from the productive copper deposits of Huancavelica.
