A large, commanding cluster of translucent blue-violet to deep purple fluorite cubes displaying the exceptional color zoning and glassy luster that has made the Minerva No. 1 Mine one of the most celebrated fluorite localities in North America. The dominant crystals exhibit a mesmerizing shift from pale lavender at the outer edges deepening to rich violet-purple at the core, with visible stepped growth features and cleavage faces that catch the light with a silky, almost liquid quality. A warm golden-yellow fluorite matrix at the base adds a stunning additional dimension to this already complex piece.
