A dramatic and multifaceted specimen centered around a large, lustrous black schorl (tourmaline) crystal displaying a superb "Mercedes-Benz" trigonal termination — the distinctive three-faced pyramidal apex that collectors prize above all other termination types in schorl. The jet-black, striated prism faces of the schorl command immediate attention, while a cluster of warm honey-brown to smoky quartz crystals fans out behind it, adding height and elegance to the overall composition.
The third image reveals this specimen's most spectacular secret: under shortwave UV light, a coating of hyalite opal across the quartz fluoresces in an intense, electric neon green, transforming this piece into something truly otherworldly!
